Gekidol takes place five years after a city's disappearance, following a group of girls who develop a fascination with the Theatrical Material System, a technology that utilizes 3D holograms. This system allows them to create immersive performances, serving as a form of escapism during the city's recovery from the catastrophic event. As they work towards revitalizing the city's entertainment scene, they utilize the system to produce music and performances.
