gdgd Fairies revolves around the daily lives of Pikupiku, Shirushiru, and Korokoro, three fairies residing on a floating island. They spend their time discussing the oddities they encounter, engaging in antics within the magical "Room of Light and Magic," and observing strange visions in their looking pool, which displays alternate worlds. Their carefree nature allows them to find amusement in the surreal surroundings. The fairies' lively interactions drive the series.
