GARO: THE ANIMATION

The Valiante Kingdom, led by the king, has been conducting witch hunts for seventeen years, aiming to eliminate users of magic. However, the kingdom's targets are actually the Makai Knights and Alchemists, guardians who protect humans from Horrors – demonic beings that feed on souls consumed by pain and sadness. Leon Luis, a 17-year-old Makai Knight, inherits the legendary Garo armor from his mother and struggles to overcome his hatred for the kingdom following her death. His father, German, a skilled Makai Knight, trains Leon as they investigate the sudden rise of Horrors in the kingdom's capital.
