Ganbare Genki

Genki Horiguchi's life was marked by his mother's passing at birth and his father's subsequent struggles as a boxer. Shark Horiguchi, Genki's father, had once been a professional boxer but eventually became a traveling fighter. Despite his father's decline, Genki idolized him and aimed to become a strong boxer like him. After Shark's death, Genki was adopted by his grandparents, who opposed his boxing ambitions but Genki continued training in secret.
