Foodie Boy's Classic of Mountains & Seas is an anime that draws inspiration from "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", an ancient Chinese text. The story centers around Bu Bai Chi, a gourmet who goes on a journey to explore the famous mountains and seas described in the text. His adventures are filled with unexpected twists, including encounters with mermaids, strange creatures like the Changfu birds, and eccentric characters like the Queen Mother of the West. Along the way, he also reenacts historical events, such as Yu the Great's battle against the water goblins.
