Nadie, a bounty hunter, has Ellis, a young woman with amnesia, in her sights as a suspect in a murder case. Ellis is linked to the Inca Rose, a gemstone that might hold the key to her past. Nadie decides to escort Ellis to Wiñay Marka, a place believed to have information about Ellis's memories, but warns that their partnership won't affect her ultimate goal of turning Ellis over to the authorities. They head south through Mexico, guided by the Inca Rose and a cryptic destination known as the Eternal City.
