Goku and his friends are camping when they're suddenly attacked by three unknown enemies. A fourth enemy, Cooler, joins the fight, seeking revenge for his brother Frieza's defeat. Cooler pursues Goku after a brief battle, but Goku and Gohan manage to evade him and go into hiding. Cooler becomes determined to find and kill Goku to carry out his plan of revenge.
