Doraemon Movie 09: The Record of Nobita's Parallel Visit to the West

Nobita attempts to prove the existence of the Monkey King by traveling back to the time of Sanzo's pilgrimage with the help of Doraemon's virtual video game console. They play a game based on "Journey to The West," allowing Nobita to wear the Monkey King's attire, but their efforts to prove the Monkey King's existence are unsuccessful. After completing the game without battling demons, Nobita and his friends discover that their world is, in fact, under demonic rule. Doraemon and the gang must return to the past to stop the demons, which were inadvertently summoned when Doraemon left the game console open.
