Divine Gate

Aoto, a teenage boy with exceptional water powers, has a troubled past and is initially reluctant to join the World Council's special academy for Adapters. Adapters are people born with unique elemental abilities, gifted to them from the union of the living world, the heavens, and the underworld. After being persuaded by fellow students Midori and Akane, who possess wind and fire abilities respectively, Aoto joins the academy and teams up with Arthur, the enigmatic leader of the World Council, to search for the Divine Gate.
