Dies irae

Ren Fujii is a high school student who's been recovering in a hospital for two months after a violent altercation with his friend Shirou Yusa. The memory of that incident still weighs on him, as does Shirou's ominous warning: "Everyone who remains in this city eventually loses their minds." Ren's nights are marked by recurring vivid dreams, which include imagery of a guillotine, pursuers in black, and a sense of dread.
