The Swordsmith Village Arc adapts the story from volume 12 of the Demon Slayer manga, where Tanjiro arrives in the Swordsmith Village to get a new sword. However, the village's swordsmith, Kozo Kanamori, refuses to make one for him, prompting Tanjiro to seek advice from the Hashira and eventually travel to the village. Upon arrival, Tanjiro meets the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, and the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, as well as Genya Shinazugawa.
