Shinkurou Kurenai lives a double life as a 16-year-old student and dispute mediator. By day, he attends classes; by night, he uses his skills to mediate disputes for his employer, Benika Juuzawa. Shinkurou's past has driven him to develop his martial arts abilities and a unique power. He takes on various jobs, but one assignment involves living with Murasaki Kuhouin, a seven-year-old member of an affluent family who fled her home with Benika's help.
