Set 100 years in the future, Crayon Shin-chan Gaiden: Alien vs. Shinnosuke is a "sealed room" suspense comedy that diverges from the main television series. The story unfolds as the Nohara family, including Shinnosuke, awakens from cryosleep to discover they're on a space ship drifting in space.
