San-Teresa Metropolitan Police established a new department to combat crime after a hyperspace gate connected Earth to a world with fairies and monsters. The city's population boom brought issues like drugs and trafficking. Kei Matoba, a former JSDF soldier, is one of the department's top cops, known for bending the rules. Partnered with Tilarna Exedilika, a noble from the Farbani Kingdom, Kei is tasked with rescuing a missing noble fairy. His own quest for vengeance is also tied to this case, following the death of his partner Rick Fury in a botched fairy trafficking case.
