Coo of the Far Seas

Yousuke Obata lives with his father Tetsuo, an oceanographic biologist, on Pagopago in the Fiji archipelago. After a storm hits the island, Yousuke discovers a strange baby dinosaur while riding his Jet Ski to the lagoon, which he then takes to his father's laboratory and names Coo. Coo, identified as a baby plesiosaur that lived around 65 million years ago, attracts unwanted attention from the French secret service, tasked with safeguarding France's nuclear interests in the region.
