Hideyoshi, a homeless boy from New York, survived by playing basketball against other kids in the city. In the near future, humans were outnumbered in basketball by physically superior alien players, who dominated the Space League. Hideyoshi's team, the first all-human roster in the league, hoped to shift the balance and bring a championship back to Earth.
