Touko Natori, a third-year middle school student at the Eastern Private Defense Academy, undergoes rigorous training at the Fuji Training Facility in August 2026 under instructor Kamiya. As the training period comes to a close, Kamiya suggests an extracurricular research class focusing on new weapons, but their plans are disrupted by a major incident that affects the entire country of Japan.
