The Alchemist, a mysterious figure, reincarnates famous writers from history and confines their souls to a vast library. The writers are tasked with entering books to defeat the Taints, monstrous entities corrupting the pages, and rescue other trapped authors whose stories they originally penned. Some writers retain their past identities and abilities, while others struggle to recall their former lives and literary works. As they navigate this mission, they hope to uncover the reason behind their resurrection and resolve the mysteries that haunted their pasts.
