The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where remnants of past civilizations are repurposed to sustain a struggling population. Gear, who works in a junk shop, partners with Qu-0213, a robot with multiple personalities, and White Bear, a gambler, to retrieve stolen goods. When Gear lands a high-stakes job, he and his team become entangled in a complex web of danger, including assassins, high-speed chases, and intense battles. Their target, an item with a hidden secret, poses a significant threat to the fragile balance of this new world.
