Buddy Complex

Aoba Watase, an ordinary high school student, is saved from a giant robot called a Valiancer by his classmate Hina Yumihara. Hina reveals that she and the robot are from the future, and to prevent his death, she sends Aoba 70 years forward in time. Upon arrival, Aoba finds himself in the cockpit of a Valiancer called Luxon, caught in a battle between the Free Pact Alliance and the Zogilia Republic. He is later paired with FPA pilot Dio Weinberg through a successful "coupling," allowing them to share experiences and increase their capabilities.
