Bubblegum Crisis

The city of Tokyo was rebuilt as MegaTokyo after the devastating 2032 Second Great Kanto Earthquake. The corporation Genom, which initially created mechanical beasts known as "Boomers" to benefit humanity, now produces high-powered Boomers for use as advanced weaponry. These machines can also disguise themselves as humans. The AD Police, tasked with countering the rise in Boomer-related crimes, often struggles to keep up due to the disparity in strength.
