Brynhildr in the Darkness

Ryouta Murakami, a high school student who's still reeling from a tragic accident ten years ago, has a personal stake in proving the existence of extraterrestrial life. His late friend Kuroneko, who died in the incident, had shared his enthusiasm for the subject, and Ryouta now feels a sense of responsibility to carry on her legacy. The arrival of Neko Kuroha, a transfer student with an uncanny resemblance to Kuroneko, sets off a chain of events that leads Ryouta into a complex world of magic-wielding individuals and secret research laboratories. Neko's abilities and mysterious past draw Ryouta deeper into this hidden world.
