Wataru, a 11-year-old boy, feels a drastic change in his life after his father leaves home and his mother falls ill. He decides to travel through a mysterious door shown to him by his friend Mitsuru, which leads him to a world where magic and monsters exist. In this new world, Wataru joins several companions on a quest to meet the Goddess of Destiny.
