Boogiepop and Others

The series Boogiepop and Others revolves around the legend of Boogiepop, a supernatural entity at Shinyo Academy that's said to kill individuals during their peak attractiveness. Boogiepop supposedly takes the form of the alter ego of Touka Miyashita, a high school girl, to protect against perceived global threats. A series of unexplained disappearances sparks Boogiepop's awakening, and in the midst of this, a more sinister entity lurks within the academy. The narrative explores the connections between people and their perception of time, as well as the intricate relationships, emotions, and pasts of the characters.
