Bokura Mangaka: Tokiwasou Monogatari

The apartment complex Tokiwa served as home to a group of aspiring manga artists in 1953, including Hiro Terada, Motoo Abiko, and Hiroshi Fujimoto, who would later form influential partnerships. Shotaro Ishinomori and Fujio Akatsuka also lived at Tokiwa, where they faced financial struggles, rejection from editors, and difficulties in attracting female attention. Despite these challenges, the young artists persevered with a sense of youthful determination.
