Mi Liu, referred to as "The Child of Hope," is a half-human, half-vampire individual born 60 years after a mass insomnia incident led to the emergence of vampires. This event triggered a war between humans and vampires, resulting in humanity's victory, but some vampires managed to survive. Mi Liu is arrested for a bank robbery and transferred to a facility run by the National Defense Agency, which oversees vampire populations. During an escape attempt with fellow inmate Anji, they're attacked by mysterious creatures, leading them to discover that the facility is located in Blue Town, the origin of vampires.
