Between the Sky and Sea

The Onomichi Universe Fishery Union is a training program for space fishermen established in Onomichi, Hiroshima. As the global fishing industry struggles due to the disappearance of fish from the world's oceans, with only whales remaining, the Japanese Ministry of Fishery turns to space-based solutions. To address this crisis, the Ministry sets up large experimental Universe Fish Tanks in space, and the Onomichi Union trains a new generation of space fishermen, with a focus on female recruits who have become increasingly in demand due to changes in employment laws.
