The events of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia take place after the downfall of Naga, following the combination of the Infinity and Silent Cores to recreate Vestroia. Danma Kuusou, along with his companion Dragonoid, and other Battle Brawlers, had previously brought about this change. However, peace is short-lived as the Vestals, humanoid alien invaders, arrive in Vestroia and conquer the Bakugan world using a machine to restrict the Bakugan into their ball forms. Led by Danma, the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance must now oppose the Vestals' plan to enslave the Bakugan as a form of entertainment.
