Zheng Shaopeng, a high school student, found himself inexplicably transported into the past after falling asleep in class, specifically into the body of impoverished scholar Yang Lin. As Yang Lin navigated the complexities of life in the past, he witnessed firsthand the turmoil and hardships faced by the people, including battles and internal struggles within the Danzhu Dynasty. By leveraging his knowledge and skills, Yang Lin gained access to the court and played a key role in addressing corruption and external threats.
