The "Huge" appeared fifty years ago, posing an existential threat to humanity, prompting the development of teenage soldiers known as "Lilies." These Lilies wield the energy "Magie" to power "Counter Huge ARMS" or "CHARMS" for defense. Riri Hitotsuyanagi, inspired by a Lily who saved her two years ago, enrolls in the Yurigaoka academy to become a Lily herself, where she meets Yuyu Shirai, her rescuer.
