Baron is a man living on the continent of Arad in the year 981, following the catastrophic event known as the "cursed light of Kazan." This disaster has had a profound impact on him, causing one of his arms to become possessed. He discovers a sword imbued with the spirit of Roxy, which sets him on a journey to uncover the truth behind the curse. Along the way, he forms alliances with others who join his party, seeking to understand and break the curse's hold.
