Aquatope of White Sand

Kukuru Misakino, an 18-year-old high school student, works at a local aquarium in Okinawa. There, she meets Fuuka Miyazawa, a former idol who has moved to the island after leaving her life in Tokyo behind. As Fuuka adjusts to her new life, she spends her days in the aquarium, grappling with her own thoughts and feelings. Meanwhile, the aquarium faces a looming crisis due to financial struggles, prompting Kukuru and Fuuka to explore their own dreams, relationships, and the blurred lines between loneliness and friendship.
