Akikan!

Kakeru Diachi, an avid collector of rare juice cans, meets Melon, a girl who resembles a can of melon soda. He learns that she's an Akikan, a special can created to participate in a research project comparing steel and aluminum containers. As Melon's steel body relies on carbon dioxide to breathe, Kakeru becomes her temporary caretaker, and their lives become complicated.
