A Portrait of Jianghu: Spirit Master

Baili Dengfeng is searching for his missing wife Ruyan in a world where the living work for themselves and the undead fulfill the last wishes of ghosts with unresolved regrets. Dengfeng's journey intersects with Jia Xuan, who seeks revenge for his family's murder, as well as Liang You and Liang Yuan, the latter of whom is known for his skeptical nature. Through his encounters, Dengfeng learns about the Spirit Masters and Spirit Slaves, and becomes involved with the Spirits Expelling Order, an organization that may hold the key to understanding his wife's disappearance. His quest for answers is complicated by the mysteries he uncovers.
