Konoha Akisato is an illustrator specializing in bishoujo-style characters and games, working at a video game studio with aspirations of fame. After struggling in the present's mobile game industry, she spends her days as a sub-illustrator coloring background characters. Konoha's fortunes change when she acquires a vintage bishoujo game, "Dokyusei," which unexpectedly transports her back to the game's release year, 1992.
